Micah, your words in response to Michael’s are true art that is the creation between two writers. ✍️ Such a deep connection exists between that which is created between two artists.

Yes! That connection -- that human connection -- is what makes art beautiful. Thank you for acknowledging this, Elisa.

I love your words Micah . They always find the trail that leads deep into the natural green forest of my being, where streams of imagination trickle by and the birds sing.

I'm so glad you share them.

Well-deserved words indeed! I, too, struggle with praise, which stems from my childhood and lack of it. And somehow, my son, now a married adult, also struggles with praise, in particular when I give it. He tells me his focus is on how he can improve, and I tell him that sometimes, you need to just sit and savor the moment. We can always do better, but sometimes, what we do is simply enough.

You and I are the same in that regard, Sam. I have traced this back to childhood as well. It makes me more aware as a parent now. I hope each day I can somehow convince my children that they are enough -- enough that they will believe it even when they are older.

A gorgeous, reflective short post, Micah. Yes to words as something we hold. And the praise is well deserved 💗
