They said we should never hope again! 😆😉 Thanks for your kind words, my friend. I don't know what I want, to be honest. I just know that this offer excites me much more than the others! And I really need a job right now so I can move out of my parents' house. I also need a change of scenery, to discover a new region, and to be able to go hiking near the sea!I'll keep you posted. 😊
Thank you for reading, and for being here, Jenine. It's terrible looking for work. I wish the best for your son and son-in-law. And I hope your son can still maintain his independence while he's looking for work. Because for me, living with my elderly and sick parents is a living hell. Or else, I hope you support your son with all your heart, because unfortunately, that's not the case with my mother. See you soon, my friend!
Oh, I wish you all the luck in the world! And what a kind heart that woman has. I hope your next writing will say: "I got the job!" ☺️💐🕯️
And yes, I understand you completely. I've hated every job I've had so far. They've made me miserable: evil bosses, coworkers who take advantage of your good nature and make you work extra, and so on. I've sent out résumés to work in bookstores, but it's funny, I never hear back from them, I don't know why. And that's even though I've been a volunteer at a bookstore for an NGO for years. I would love to work in a cultural place, but it's also true that I'm a foreigner in Spain, and whether we like it or not, all of that makes a difference.
Anyway, I've talked a lot about myself, sorry. Keep telling us what's going on! Good luck! 🤞🍀
Your words warm my heart, Diana. Thank you for your valuable support! 💚 This woman is incredible. I never imagined I would receive such support when I wrote an email last May to the agency she works for. Humanity still exists in this world. 🙏 I also hope that I'll at least get the chance to have an interview, and yes, to get the job! I really need a job right now to regain my independence and smile again.
I love it when you talk about yourself! We're here to talk about ourselves and say what's on our minds, so that's great! 🤗 It's so hard to find a job where you feel fulfilled. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't found the right one yet. I hope it happens soon.
Wait a minute. I've been talking a lot to a writer I published on Medium. She's in Spain, in Barcelona I think, and she works in culture and events. And like you, she's not originally from Spain! I'll send you a private message.
I'll keep you posted on what happens, and I hope you will too. 🍃
Thank you for your kind words, Caroline. It warms my heart that you continue to read my posts after all these years. Thank you again for being there. 💚 I really need a job to regain my independence and improve my health. I hope that day will come. Have a good night. 🌙
Best of luck, Thomas. I hope (yes, I still hope) that you land where your heart desires most.

If you're looking for a job or have been at some point in your life, then you probably understand what I'm going through.
I sure do understand! Both my son and son in law are walking in your path, too. BEST to you.

Sounds like this is right up your alley, Thomas, so I'm sharing your hope on this one.
What used to excite me in the morning was a day that was light on appointments and offered the prospect of getting caught-up and free once again.
